About My Practice

I’m a Certified Lifespan Integration therapist based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  After 20 years of doing relational talk therapy, I began searching for an effective method for treating acute and complex PTSD. When I discovered Lifespan Integration (LI), I found it to be a very deep but gentle treatment that succeeded where others I tried had failed.

Since first beginning my LI training, I have used this method with remarkable success with many clients of diverse ages, ethnicities, socio-economic backgrounds, and sexual orientations.

Since the Covid pandemic, I work mostly online.  This allows me to serve clients throughout California.  In addition to my therapy work with individuals,  I am committed to helping increase the number of trained LI therapists in California, and creating a community of support for this method for therapists and clients.

Lifespan Integration:

An innovative approach to trauma therapy

Trauma is best described as an overwhelming sense of danger to your mind/ body/spirit. When we are in this state of overwhelm, our nervous system actually shuts down, causing a part of us to get stuck there and not able to grow along with us. This is why we find ourselves, our family members or friends, behaving like they are, say, 4-years-old, when they are fully grown adults. The best way I’ve found to treat my clients’ acute stress, PTSD, and complex trauma is through Lifespan Integration.

Lifespan Integration (LI) is a new approach to psychotherapy which was developed in the early 2000's. LI is a gentle, body-based method which heals trauma and repairs early attachment deficits.

Lifespan Integration therapy heals deeply and completely without re-traumatizing.

Lifespan Integration is a very gentle method which works on a deep neural level to change patterned responses and outmoded defensive strategies.

What if your life story could heal you?

How do I work with my LI clients?

In our first sessions, we will put together a timeline of your life, from your earliest memories to the present. Using this timeline, we are able to convince your nervous system that the traumas from the past are over. Single-incident traumas, e.g. a car accident, can often be healed in just one session. More complex traumas take longer, but the ultimate result is feeling more integrated, coherent, and able to face the present without being triggered by the past.
